Joinery Coatings

The joinery coating system developed by Shield Coatings and known as AQUASHIELD is a composite system comprising of primer coats, base coats and opaque or translucent top coats to enable a fully finished joinery system. It has been specifically developed for the protective and decorative treatment of softwood and hardwood timbers.

AQUASHIELD is a truly waterborne system ensuring that it is a completely environmentally friendly process. The use of alkyd resin and acrylic resin polymers have been combined to provide a coating system which provides durability, high build, high adhesion with a choice of satin or gloss finishes.
