Stain Blocking Primer

Isobloc Ultra is a second generation single pack, waterborne barrier coating developed to resist the tendency of migration and transference of soluble staining matter generally found in softwood knots and certain species of timber such as Western red cedar, Idigbo, oaks and all potentially staining timbers. Isobloc Ultra acts as a highly efficient barrier coat on potentially staining bare timber and softwood knots prior to over coating with light coloured finishes such as white and pastel shade top coat finishes. ULTRA is available in White, Grey and Cream.

Knotting Solution

A clear waterborne Knotting solution for the treatment of knots prior to painting. The solution is a highly efficient barrier to potentially staining extracts found in and around knots. Open knots should ideally be removed and filled, where this is not possible or practical, the void around the knot should be filled, sanded and finally treated with knotting solution.

Stainlock

A white barrier paint developed to prevent further ingress of difficult to cover stains, applied over the stain and allowed to dry, stainlock may then be over coated with traditional paints and coatings. NBP is effective over a broad range of stains including marker pen and tobacco.
